  1. Q: Does gmail's information protection mode work outside of Chrome?A: Information protection mode is also available on this site. It doesn't seem to be particularly browser-dependent (unconfirmed).

  2. Q: I'm deleting emails that I don't need because my gmail is running out of space. I'm hoping that I can get rid of the over capacity of my gmail when I move to Ge suite. What will happen? What should I do? A: There is no direct way to migrate emails from Free Gmail to G Suite Gmail is Indirectly, you can export the information once and then import it into your Windows/Mac email client. You can have it ported and then imported into G Suite Gmail from there. If you only want to target future emails, you can set up forwarding.

  3. Q: How can I transfer old emails and outlook addresses that have not been transferred to G-MAIL? I'm sorry for a rudimentary question, but I don't think this was mentioned in the instructions for the workshop. A: If you configure Outlook in the "Setup Client" section of this site, and then choose "Data Migration in Outlook" in the "First Step" section of this site, G Suite will be able to send necessary information, including your address book and calendar, to G Suite.

    A: Hangouts will soon be unsupported. Please use Meet in the future.

    A: The shared drive is owned by the operational organization. There is no need to migrate data in the event of a retirement or move.

    A:
    If you are not a professor emeritus, you can use the G Suite environment of the three Okazaki institutes when you retired or moved. It will be eliminated. However, your personal information can be transferred. If you are using G Suite, you can transfer it (unconfirmed), or you can create a free Gmail account and transfer to it. Or you can create a free Gmail account and transfer to it (unconfirmed).

  2. Q: If you create a website in G Suite "Sites", it's not just in your NIPS account. Can I publish the entire web?
    A: You can. This site uses "sites". Since the site is only one file in the drive, the shared area of the drive determines the behavior of the site. If you set up a custom URL, you can publish the site with your domain name, just like this site.
